electronic speedo or not

I have a 86 trans am does anyone know if it has a electronic speedo or not any help would be great.

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula

Engine: Internal Combustion

Transmission: Completed

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.

If it has gauges as it should, then it is electric.
86 was the first year for the electric speedo in the Firebird, but only came in those that had gauges; the 86 and 87 Firebirds with the dumbass lights were still cable driven.

If you look towards the back of the trans on the drivers side youll see either a wire or a cable. Then youll know for sure.
