I was told my clutch had been replaced by the previous owner but it feels terrible. The clutch is very heavy compared to my other car (2003 Stratus R/T Coupe), and the friction point seems to be way too far up. It takes fairly good clutch play to get the thing going smoothly without it jumping or wanting to die. The tranny wines pretty loud in the first 3 gears and wines and chugs the car on decelleration. Also, sometimes in first or reverse when it really takes a lot of clutch/gas play to get it moving it will make this awful loud metal on metal "spinning" type noise just before I let out the clutch completely. So what do you guys think??? How much does it usually cost for a T-5 rebuild...by the way the car has 72K on it.

 

NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING OR HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS???
