Pedal assembly braces...

Has anyone installed thier pedal assy without the 2 braces that run from the top pivot bolt to the mounting bolts for the clutch master cylinder?
If I need them...Anyone have a set for sale NOW?
THANKS
Steve

Yeah people do it all the time.

It doesn't work. The firewall bends enough to lose enough of the clutch linkage motion, that the clutch won't release.

You need to get them.

No I don't have any extra. Sorry. Fairly common in the boneyards though.
