Tranny Mount?
was at a local car cruise the other day and everyone was doing a burnout so i joined in on the fun. after i let off the brake and moved abou t10 feet i heard a CLUNK. at first when i heard it i thought my rear took a poop on me. but i drove about 10 miles with no problems and no difference in driving, other than if i get on it a bit too much gas there is that clunk again. it comes from about the center console/armrest area. am i right in assuming i broke my tranny mount? when i got home i layed down and looked at it but it didnt look bad but anything else in the drive train should have left me stranded/made the car act different. unless you guys have any other ideas i think im going to order a nice new Poly tranny mount.

jack the tranny up slightly and check for cracking....sounds like the mount to me.
Change it with a poly mount and be done with it.
