t56 speed sensor

hey guys was wonderin if anybody knew of cheap(er) place to get a speed sensor for my 97 t56 i just droped in my car couldn't find one on fleabay and is it bad if i drive without it for awhile???

as far as where to buy your sensor, I would say only gm. As far as driving, when I put my t56 in my 91 formula, I test drove it a bunch with no problems. I read somewhere on here that it won't drop into limp without the sensor. Mine did not, but I wouldn't drive it like that too long. greatest mod I've ever done to any one of my cars.

hey bro what do you mean by drop into limp??? and is the sensor and wire harness the same unit ???

the sensor is on the driver side of the t56. It is a double pin connection. You can buy the correct lead from gm. Its cheap.
