t-5 trans mount
Ive owned my 89 camaro rs for just about a month now and have already ripped 2 trans moutns in half is there somethign i dont kno i try not to beat on her but ant turn down a good street race is there anythign i can do to aviod replacing trans mounts constanly?

Don't use stock GM rubber ones. It is not uncommon to have a new rubber mount break hours after it has been installed. Go with a poly mount of your choice. Also, look at your motor mounts. If they are shot the tranny mount is taking the brute of the motors deflection and can contribute to premature failure.

is it possible to use a solid tranny mount in conjunction with solid motor mounts? if so im gonna have my friend make me one for the new engine also where can i find a poly mount?

well youll lose 4-5 punds of torque (sp) im boulding a new motor and dont mind some silght vibrations my dad has solid motor mounts in his chevelle so i kno what itll be like if i get a solid trans mo9unt made should i get somehtign stiffer made up for the torque arm?
