Why do you want a expensive aftermarket rear axle with the set you have listed?????

I've been pounding my 10-bolt for 4 seasons now with only one axle tube seal replacement. Moser axles, Richmond gears, and a Torsen diff. Over 12 track days on road courses, several thousand street miles in between. First three seasons were with a 350 TPI engine pushing it, this season with an LS1 in charge.

Rebuild is cheaper...

Moser axles
Auburn limited slip
ring/pinion
full setup kit
T/A cover

All this costs about $1000, then about $300 to install it all.
Doubles strength of the 10-bolt.

The cheapest 12-bolt ot 9" is about 1800 for a thridgen.

The Eaton design I'm familiar with, the Gov-Lock, is OK for drag racing but a real compromise for cornering. It locks pretty violently and tends to unhook the rear.

On my '02 Chevy truck w/ Eaton posi, I have trouble with the inside tire chirping on some corners...sucker doesn't unlock consistently. It's been to the dealer twice, it'll go back again.

Auburns have a good following in road racing, as do Torsens w/ the T-2 piece.

I went with a Torsen HD as it has no clutches to wear out, and it can bias/distribute torque between the two rear wheels nicely. Not a good one to use in drag racing as it doesn't solidly "lock" both rear wheels to the pinion gear rotation, but excellent for street and track cornering.
