My 700r4 is low miled has a B&M shift kit in in which is properly installed, good fluid and filter, put it in reverse and it takes a minute to engage and 1000 to 1500 rpm to back it up. never done this till the kit was put in by me. Man Im lost on this and need some good advice, its gotta be something simple Im overlooking. All the forward gears are great and it'll chirp through the gears fine. The trans is a 1984 model so its alittle more simpler than the later 700r4's, I checked everything including the 1-2 3-4 modules, m not sure about the pressure valve assy that also includes the reverse valve assy. B/M's kit includes a spring for that assy. that I installed, everything goes back up in that hole and is secured with a snap ring, Could I be missing something there? I've got another assy. to replace that one if need be.
