4.33 or 4.56 gear?
I have an 87 Camaro, weighs 3350 lbs with me in it. I currently have a Moser 9" with a 3.89 gear and a Powerglide with a 1.82 first gear. Which gear would be more help to my car for the 1/8th mile?

the one that allows you to go through the traps at or just below your engines power peak
LOL...just had too
The deeper first gear in your glide is going to help, how tall are your current rear slicks, what is your trap rpm right now? Stall's flash rpm, cam duration?
In our truck (in sig) we running the glide with the 1.76 gear set, 4600 stall, 31" tire and 4.33 gears. I dont hit my shift until right at athe 1/8 mi marker and that's 6600rpm. So if you wanna be at the top of both gears in the 1/8th you better start looking to a 5 series gear sets...depending on your combination of course.
