At first when I started my car in the morning and started on my drive I would would hit the gas and my transmission would shift into gears normally. I then started to have leaks so I took my car to a transmission shop to have all of the seals replaced.

Now, when I drive in the morning and hit the gas, the rpm's are going higher than before and not shifting into gears normally anymore. It's sounds like the engine is racing but I'm not moving any faster. Leaks are all gone, but engine rpm is going higher than before. Now, I do all of this with the engine cold. Am I doing something wrong?
