i have an 86 z28 with a 355 in it running nitrous. i have a race built trany but the stock 292 rearend. all i plan to do is go as fast as i can in a quarter mile. im not really worried about fuel economy. so should i go with 373 gears or 410.

i heard that only certain gears will fit. do they make a 410 replacement that will fit my stock housing. if you know of any try to find a part number. i would apreciate it.

 

Dont know. What kind of rear is this? Stock 10 bolt? You could always get another carrier or a later model rear end with better axles and the higher series carrier to start off with.

 

you want a gear that will put you at peak power at the finish line.all depends on how much power your running and tire size.what rpm do you cross at now?
