Alright, I currently have a 700R4 in my car but it only has 1st and 2nd gear because after I rebuilt the motor w/ the holley carb I didn't get things hooked up correctly, soo I think that led to premature failure of the 700R4. I considered buying a th350 but theres too much bull**** that goes with that. So what I need to know is.... What all has to be done to hook the 700R4 up to a non computer controlled carb. Thanks

They sell excellent kits that make sure you get your TV geometry set up correctly... There's also the TV System 101 article that explains exactly how the transmission is regulated (with the throttle valve). You can also order a line pressure gauge for $29 from them (indispensable tool for making sure your tranny is setup right)..
