After school I'm looking to go the route of Monte and John Meaney and go for the twin turbo small block with 1000 hp. The only thing is, I'd want to do it with a manual tranny. I've briefly looked at the tranny's out there and I came across the Tremec TKO600 which is rated to 600 lb ft and the G-force T-56 which is rated to 900 hp and 800 lb ft. Close but no cigar, any ideas? Am I gonna have to go completely custom on this one?

Yep, a Lenco would do it, but it's not very streetable, by design it's always in gear, which is why you don't need a clutch to shift it.
You might still look at a Doug Nash (Richmond) since the car is turbo'd, unless you run upthe RPM's and dump the whole 1,000HP you could probably get away with it.
