Vibration at 65mph
i haven't tried it in D, only OD. TCC should lock up without OD shouldn't it? I'll try tomorrow.
Don't know if this is related, but I wanted to see how fast I could get up a hill on the highway so I floored it . It doesn't like to go past 3500-4000 rpm without shifting, even at WOT. At about 75 it shifted into OD floored. Might be another symptom of the problem. This, I think, might be caused by a poorly adjusted TPS?(the actual name escapes me but it's hooked up to the throttle blade next to the throttle cable). If it's that thing, how do I properly adjust it?. My mechanical skill is ok but usually is just enough to get me into trouble.

accidentally hit the new topic button
TV cable not TPS.
Vibration occurs just passing through that mph range: cruising, decelerating, accelerating

There is a tech article in the tech article lists about how to adjust the TPS (throttle position sensor).
More information is needed as to when you can feel the vibration.

Got new tires today. Balanced and everything. The car vibrates most of the time between 60-70 mph. No vibration, other than normal road stuff, above 70 (tested all the way up to 110). It feels like I'm going over lots of speed bumps. Tried all of the shocks/struts by pushing down on the corners of the car and everything seemed alright.
If i keep it steady at 65 the vibration stays the same. If i'm coasting through 70-60 (no brakes or gas) there is little to no vibration. I tried shifting it out of OD into D at about 65 and the viration stayed the same. I don't think its the TCC. When I get enough money scraped together I'll have a mechanic look at it but I don't want to pay someone else to look at it if there is a common proble with a simple solution. Maybe I didn't check my shocks well enough. Since this is my daily driver I can't really take it out of service until the weekends. Any to help me focus on a specific part of the car is extemely helpful and welcome.

Sounds like you need to tighten things up from driveshaft - tranny mount - engine mounts.
after that if the problem persists then you probably need to have your driveshaft balanced, it's probably wobbling a little at higher speeds.
