Can anyone help me decode this rear axle code ...I would like to know any information that you can get out of it "6EW C238 1"... I have looked on quite a few sites and my camaro service manuals unsuccessfully.... i think this might not be the original axle.....

I also found this number casted under the diferential housing what could it mean...."GM N 22522676"

any help would be greatly appreciated.....
