rearend swap from 85 T/A to 89 IROC
Im in the middle of swapping the rearend from my 85 T/A to my 89 IROC-Z. My question is, is it possible to swap the brakes without removing the axles? Im pretty sure i cant do it but it doesnt hurt to ask. Both rearends are 9 bolts and both posi but my irocs posi doesnt work anymore and the gear ratio sucks 2.77
The T/A's rearend works perfect and the gear ratio is 3.27
Any one know how many mph my speedo will be off?

hmm. I believe the caliper bracket stuff will require axle removal.
Speedo gears ain't that tough to do.
