Tranny bolt-up??
Hello, I was just wondering if a 700r4 trans that is in my '88 firebird with a v-6 will bolt-up to a 305? Any replies on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. - Brian

Like he said, the bolt pattern is different. For that matter, I wouldnt use any of the V6 trans', even one for a 4.3L. IIRC, they have fewer frictions then the V8 ones do, reducing the torque capacity.
