i searched and searched but never found a good answer so here goes..

i just bought (http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/me...y_Code=Teckpak ) this kit so i could put a th350 into my car my question is how do i change the output shaft? thanks!

looks to me like a waste of money. what you should do is start with a long TS 350 or change the DS length and you wouldn't need that kit or the extra time, expense, and effort it requires. you will still need the B&M torque arm kit unless you have a floor mount aftermarket torque arm

 

obviously u didnt really look at the kit very well..i use the existing tailshaft off of my 700r4. so the torque arm mounts to its normal place..my speedo gears and sender are all correct can still use my drive sharft..it was recomended by quite a few people.

 

yeah you're right that looks a lot easier and at a lot less cost than the b&m kit

 

I run the exact same kit on my car, its awesome man. Makes a th350 bolt in, and everything stock still works. Sweet. I had my trans guy do mine when he built it.
