REMOVING TRANNY questions
I will be removing my tranny this weekend to see if there is a crack in flex plate.
Car has loud Knock/Rattle. After much trail and error it has been suggested that it may have a crack in flex plate.
What else should I check or change while I have tranny out.
Also are there any tips you may have that would help with removal or instalation.
Thanks in advance.

A tranny jack is nice too. You can get them for $75 at the autoparts stores.

check to make sure the torqe converter bolts to flexplate are tight...mine came loose i just tigened it down and it was fine... yes youll also need a swivel and 21-23inches in extension to get to the top 2 bolts for the bell housing...and drain the fluid first...otherwise youll hvae 8.5quarts of tranny fluid on your garage floor
