I bought a new B&M Torkmaster and installed it during my rebuild. Brand new flexplate, tranny fluid/ filter and tranny didn't have any prior problems. I followed the instructions as closely as I could, I ended up putting three washers between the flexplate and the converter. Did anyone else do this or something similar??

Now it sounds like the flexplate area has a metalic squeel constant with rpm when taking off from dead stops up to about 15 mph, accelerating and decellerating in 1, 2 and 3rd and knocking from transmission when in reverse. I have about 200 miles on the rebuild. Any advise would be great. Thanks.
