I have an 88 firebird and recently switched out my 700r4 with a T5 from an 84. So the manual cable obviously isn't compatible with my electronic system. I was wondering if there is a adapter that I can put where the manual cable came out and then plug into the existing port (that was used for the other tranny). I haven’t heard of such thing. Or would my alternative be to get a different gauge cluster that the manual cable can plug into?
