T5 popping out of 2nd(Help)

Have a 89' RS with a T5 trans with 140,000 miles. Replaced clutch 10,000 miles ago, and while I had the trans out I Installed new bearings and Syncros.
Shifted fine tell the last few hundred miles or so. Now when it is down shifted into 2nd gear and the clutch is released the trans pops out of gear. It is also grinding alittle when going into overdrive. It doesn't pop out when left in 2nd and the throttle is got on to and off the throttle(hard).
I'm thinking the linkage is out of adjustment, but don't know if it can be adjusted. And what is the proceder?
Any help would be greatly apreacated.....

there are clutching teeth on the back of the gear aswell on the slider...the slider slides betwwen first and second gear when you shift gears..so theres the indents for the clutching teeth in the slider...when the slider is slid onto the gear clutching teeth it holds the slider to the gear...well those are worn out..there is no adjustment to fix it...you have to tear down the tranny to fix it..a second gear is 90 and the 1-2 slider is 80...more then likely just the slider is worn out
