Flywheel Converter cover

I looked under my car and noticed the flywheel and converter
were exposed.

I know there is suppose to be a cover.

Maybe is was removed to cool the converter by the previous
owner.

Is it a bad idea to drive without the cover?

Its ok to leave off .. unless you do any 4-wheeln'.. it keeps the converter cooler also

I could get a cover just for protection
and then put vent holes in it for cooling.
