question on throwout bearing
i just got my centerforce dual friction clutch assy and throwout bearing. the instructions say that the throwout bearing has to have a clip to hold the bearing on the arm. im pretty sure there isnt one on the arm. is there supposed to be or is this only w/ a centerforce bearing? its a V6 T5 btw

When I replaced the Original Fork Arm, there was no Clip on it. The New one I bought from Chevrolet had one on it. Before I replaced it, I could hear the Throwout Bearing vibrating through the consoul. After W/ the new fork = No Vibrations.
If you need a Pic of the Fork W/ the clip let me know.

Here's what the whole system is supposed to look like. The top pic is incorrectly assembled and will cause hard shifting and grinding; the bottom pic is the correct way.
