700r4 Raising shift point

Since I am doing an lt1 intake swap I would like to know how do I raise my shift points so that I can use this new power.

Maybe 5500 rpm

You can experiment with different governor weights and springs until you get the effect you want.

where do you get the weights at./how do you attach them?

I have removed and replaced the governor in my 200r4 for my Buick but it was a easy job.

B&M makes a kit, I believe Hughes does as well, there may be others. Doing it on a 700R4 isn't really any different from a 200-4R
