need help with t-56 speedo wiring!

I recently swapped a t-56 into my firebird. It has a mechanical speedo but I'm ditching that and going with this:

I don't have the wiring harnesses for my trans. Do I need to get this first? Where does the speedo wiring hook up to the tranny???

The VSS is at the left rear of the transmission sticking out of the tailhousing. Yes, you need that wiring connector.

I have a similar queston, what dose the t56's speedo wires get hooked up to, I am going to use Nordskog's digital dash, p/n DP4004, and I know one wire goes to it, but which wire, and where to the other ones(not sure how many total it has...)go to?

discription:

manual:
