Converter question?

First off what is the best converter for the money for the 700r4...I am looking to get a 3200 stall.
and...

Will a 3200 stall from a 4L60 tranny fit in a 700r4?
heard rumor that it will, but does anyone know for sure?

thanks
-Chris

Yes the 4l60e and the 700r4 both share a 30 spline torque converter. As far as best brand im sorry i dont know that.

Why would you want to put that high of a stall in a TPI? That stall would be great with a carb. and a healthy camshaft.

i agree. 3200 is too high for a tpi. go for something between 2400 and 2800. If it is going to be drag raced constantly, go with a real good quality vigilante or yank torque converter. if you are just looking for something to drive around in, a B&M would be fine.
