I have a bumping noise when my trans hits passing gear?
I`ve just bought a 92 rs 305 tbi with 700r4 automatic. I`ve noticed a bumping noise and can also feel it in the shift handle when I hit the passing gear hard. It also seems as if it does it slightly when I make right turns with a little less agressive acceleration than the above. I was wandering if it is the u joints. It almost feels as if the driveshaft is hitting underneath the body of the car. I use to have an 85 camaro v6 back in the day and it seemed as if itdid the same. I`m just wandering what it is and a cure? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Tranny mount could be broken, they have a bad habit of doing that in our cars. Energy suspension sells a good one that should'nt break if thats whats wrong in your case.
