I have been looking for a new converter and all I can find is lock up converters. Im not running a computer or want to run lock up.
So is there any company that has non lock up for the 27 spline tranny or can I run a lock up converter but not use it, will it hurt anything?

Good idea, at least if you want it to last at least.

Go to http://www.700r4l60e.com/store/custo...&cat=49&page=1 this will give you a 27 spline non-lockup torque converter. You will need to add a Trans-Go non-lockup valve to the front pump (this requires pan removal) & remove the checkball & capsule from the input shaft, that is it. This TC weighs about 12 pounds less, produces more part throttle torque, runs cooler, etc. Better gas mileage around town, and a slight loss in freeway gas mileage, about 1/2 MPG.
