Car: 2002 trans am

Engine: ls1

Transmission: t56

can 7004rs interchange v8-v6

have a freind in need of a 700 4r. its an 87 with a 2.8. found a 30 spline tranny that was in a v8 car. will it work???

No, the bellhousing is different.

alright thanks man, i noticed there were diff codes but i thought it was a difference in the input shaft.... but whatever. thanks again
