how do I remove a yoke?

I need to swap yokes on a driveshaft for fitment reasons. How do you take a yoke off of the driveshaft?

Usually with a bandsaw.

So the only way to separate the yoke from the driveshaft is by sawing it off?

Not really another way to do it when it's welded on. Why do you need to change the yoke anyway? You can get combination U-joints to join just about anything to anything.

Okay, I do believe my terminology is incorrect. I'm talking about the part of the driveshaft that goes into the back of the transmission and connects to it's tailshaft. I don't need to remove everything from the weld and out, just the part that goes into the transmission and is connected to the driveshaft by U joints.
