I've been hearing a lot of hype about the corvette servo's for the 700R4's lately.

What exactly would I gain by swapping mine out for the corvette one? It appears they are not an expensive swap where the kits are selling for $20 - $30 online.

 

mostly a firmer 1-2 shift.
I would go with a super servo. they are more $ but offer ever more pressure than the vette servo.

 

the super servo is not recommended by us for the 700r4.the corvette style servo improves 1/2 shift quality by exposing line pressure to a larger area thereby multiplying clamping force on the band.it also firms up third slightly as it acts as an accumulaot for third gear.a gret cheap addition to any 700r4.ive used them in ten second rides with absolutely great results.our corvette servo kit features a heavy duty band return spring which improves third gear quality too and reduces part throttle bangy shifts into second.

 

quicker, firmer shifts, which result in the longevity of your transmission.

I put one in my tranny just recently (well, still trying to get the last snap ring back on ), because I'm putting a 350 infront of it, isntead of the 305, and want it to last as long as possible until I have to buy a new one lol.
