problem adjusting tv cable
hello
when i try and adjust the tv cable, i push in the button, push back the thingy all the way in, and release the button. then i move the TB to WOT, but the thing doesnt move, no clicking, no nothing. just the cable moves.
is the cable mechanism broken? if so is it easy to change and where is a good place to get one?
thanks for any advice.

Have you checked the other end of the cable? It may have disconnected to the tranny valve.

After reading your post it accured to me that mine does that exact thing. Did you figure out what it was? Like yours I can push the button and slide it forward and back but after pushing it back and releasing the button the trottle opening does not move it even me pulling on it just to see what happens dose not move it.
In my case it is still connected to the tranny and the metal cord moves fine.
