Changing both speedo gears ?

Car: 1985 Trans Am
Engine: vee eight
Transmission: auto
Axle/Gears: 4.10 gears
Changing both speedo gears ?
how do i change both speedo gears, i have 4.10 gears so i got 15 and 45 so thats as close as i can get , but what kind of project is it to take the tail shaft off, does anyone have any pics of this or any tips and tricks to do this.
