I'm thinking all of the fast superstock guys are running turbo 350's for a reason, so I'm going with the 350. But on the street, that OD is awful nice for cruisin' the highways.

The low gearing in 1st of a 700 allows for quicker acceleration off the line, however, I don't think the gearing is as important for the superpowerful (10 sec. or so) cars with high stall converters as it is for less powerful cars, so it really depends on what combo you have.
my 60' times with the nitrous and the turbo 350 with a 3500 stall are 1.55 with 3.08 gears. I was thinking i could go to a 2800 stall with the larger 1st gear and maintain that 60' and get OD back ? With the nitrous i didn't think that 1-2 difference would be a big deal. Right now i have a stock turbo 350 with a hardened sprag and shift kit, but i have a 700 with all the good stuff, beast shell, kevalar bands, hardened spray...etc...
thanks guys
