Axle Sizes

I have a bent rear axle that I am replacing. The car is a 91 RS, 305, 10 bolt rear end, all stock. I'm planning to hit the junkyard tomorrow to pick up another axle, just wondering if I will need to find another 91, or if the axle size is the same for other years.
What other camaros have the axle?
Thanks.

Yup, 90-92 Camaro & Firebird is your only possible source. No other klinds of car, no other model years.

If you can't find any, here's the best ones I know of for a street type situation. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...SAG%2DEV10%2D4

You're looking for a third gen 28 spline axle. As stated above 90-92 only is your only option. The chance of finding one in an 89 is very slim.

The axles are the same length left and right.
