carrier bearing caps and studs Q
Hey all,
I'm going to do a rear buildup as per the tech bulletin on this forum (7.5/7.625 10bolt) but want to use cap studs and steel billet caps for even more strength. Question is, where to buy?
Thanks.

Ah.. thank you. Been there and didn't see 'em.
Now the burning question remains....Where do I get billet steel caps? I want 'em even if they are overkill.

FWIW, as I recall, those caps should be align bored to the housing same as an engine block. At least that's what we did in the old days, so you might want to stay with the stock caps (I know they're crappy) and use some type of girdle.
