V6 Cluth Disc Slippage Behind a V8
Here's what I ended up getting to replace my 355:
stock rebuilt 350 out of an '84 or sumthin Chevy 1500, Lingenfelter cam 224/234, .465/.469, Performer Intake and Edelbrock Performer 600carb. I figure bewteen 275-300hp.
Im still using the V6 T5 and clutch disc with a 3.42 rear end that Im prolly gonna spool to get traction. I might put a 2.73 posi in to make first and second gear better though.
Now does anyone know if the clutch is gonna have a problem with holding at all? It didnt before with the 355, but that had a slightly smaller cam and open rear end that would just spin everytime. This is gonna be a driver car, but I know Ill take it to the track a few times if it performs decent.

my 305 slipped the small clutch disc from a v6/4banger,
check with McCleod sp?
you can find a clutch disc to meet almost any need,
what you want i presume is what i have hanging on my garage wall, a 10in diameter, 14 spline disc,
i believe it was about $90 at the time, and it worked and held very well when
combined with a stock replacement pressure plate
