rear end qusetion?

hey guys i got a prblem with my rear end when i go down the road and let off the throttle i here a loud clicking in the rear end buy not a constant on e its an off an on one i think its my axel stiped or a nother gear is slipping over another one also when i take off really quick ill also here a small crunching sound when it shifts up fast let me know what some of ur i deas are about this problem thanks

Could be the universal joint. At least check that, before you get into the rear.

in that case, sounds like it's time to pull the cover and see what's busted.

I am just guessing, but its probably not the gears themselves (yet). Maybe a bearing self destructed. Until you open the thing up, anything else will be just guessing.
