I broke something - any Idea what

To start out - I've been teaching myself to drive a manual today, my first time ever. I was doing great all day until I decided to slow down on the highway to get on and off ramp and I took it out of 5th and into 4th to slow down - Bad Idea. Big bang and the car is shuddering like crazy so I quickly hit the clutch and coast to a stop. Now in first and second the tranny is bouncing up and down on the tunnel. I'm gonna crawl under there tom so is there anything I should look for if it's not obvious - x-member ect?

check the local pep girls or C, S, K, or AA. all of them carry energy suspension mounts, specificaly the chevy tranny mount. i have prothane, but any poly mount if better than a rubber mount.
