SGI-5B wiring
I just bought the sgi5b box to recalibrate my speedo after rear gear swap and came up with a little diagram to help folks out. I contacted Dakota Digital and this is how they told me to hook it up. My car is a 92 Camaro w/TPI 5 speed. Enjoy!

I wired it up as the diagram says and I get a signal but haven't fine tuned it yet. I am running into the problem of the speedo showing a reading while at a dead stop. I'm thinking it could be noise interference causing this. After research, I found this diagram from a Chevy Impala website on how he hooked it up to minimize the interference. As you can see, he cut the purple wire and hooked it into ground and left the ECM side of the purple wire taped up and also is using OUT3 instead of OUT1 like the first diagram shows. I'm going to try this method today. I bought an inline noise filter at RadioShack for 10 bucks. I'll get back with yall on the results.
