John, what are you doing? New tranny? I swapped in my new 700r4 last fall. It's not very complicated on paper, but it can be a little tricky without some extra hands.

Sorry I don't have a step by step, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. If ya need a hand I can come out your way and we'll turn some wrenches!

hey man!!! whats up?

Nah, Im just getting mine rebuilt. I got my 2800 Midwest stall and Ive had a transgo shift kit so I figure why not just rebuild the tranny while I have it out. I'll be starting this on May 4th. Did you use jack stands? what about the top bolts? any thing I should know before starting?

You going to the Fbody thing at Mooresville dragway? Car showe and drag...Jun 25th
I'll be there...

Yep, I'm going. I think a bunch of the TFB club will be going too. We meet every first and third thursday at the Nascar Cafe too. You should come out! Next one is this evening!

The top bolts weren't too bad. We had to tilt the engine just a tad, and use a few extensions, but it wasn't bad.

We had all four corners up. We used ramps on the front wheels just for a little added stability, and jackstands on the rear axle.
