allright. money this sumer is mainly going to be sunk into my suspension. however i want to quiken the ride a lil so im looking at 3.73's and and a laptop to tune with.
the question is, are 3.73's too much for a car that averages 60 mph almost all the time?
i have a 700 r4 and i at least want 3.42's which seem to have worked well for dewey316 im getting like 21 mpg right now and i dont really want to drop below 15 mpg because if i have to fill the thing up everytime i drive it i wont be able to get it out much.
im sticking with the stock tire size and it will hopefully be driven once or twice a week.
i think with 3.73's it will be a rocket in 1st gear, what do you think??

you will not lose that much mileage with 3.73s, i average about 22mpg on the freeway with the mods in my sig, but only about 11mpg in the city.

hows first gear man? i allready get kicked back in 1st and i regularly get it loose around corners. im kind of surprised, no offence, that you arent going a lil quicker. im pulling a regular 15.6-7 with almost no mods and a posi. im thinkin ill hit like, 15.00 with 3.73's and the tires im getting. im also eradicating some crap up in the motor compartment which ought to free up some power post tuning.
do you like your TES system?
