Hi! quick question on V8 t5
POST 001!
Hi all!
I have a 91 camaro 305tbi with a 5 speed. It is pretty much toast. Was my second car so I was letting a friend drive it.Anyways I believe its beyond a rebuild cause it sound like a blend trying to blend nuts and bolts. 4th gear was what i used to get it home. So I am looking to swap it out. Here lies the question. I am looking to keep my speedo and such. Thanks for your time.
1. What years can I look for?

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
83-92.
Swap over the VSS sending unit and your speedo drive/driven gears if necessary - they're color-coded.

More specifically, it must be a 83-92 Camaro/Firebird V8 T-5. No other will swap in directly. Not a 6-cyl one, not one out of another vehicle such as a S truck or Mustang, not a 93-up one. 83-92 V8 Camaro/Firebird. 88-92 would be preferred, as that's the dividing year between the 1st design, and the newer 2nd design like you have.
