so confused, someone please help i need to order my tranny

my questions are in order to put a tko 600 into my L98

Why can i not use the tko 600 with a muncie t-10 90 degree 4 speed bellhousing. If i went this route what difficulties would i run into trying to put a mechanical clutch linkage into my car.

someone please answer that so i know if i can order the trans from a local dealer or if i have to order from fortes. if i know i have to go through fortes they can help me out with the rest of my issues.

there's no such thing as a muncie t10, that might be the first problem you'd have to over come.

i thought the t-10 4 speeds out of the 2nd gens were muncies, i guess not. I think i remember tho that with the 4 speed something to do with the linkage hits the floor pan so it wont work. My other question...

Got an e-mail from www.5speedtransmissions.com back saying in regards to me using my torque arm with the tko600

"The torque arm won't work directly without the machine work and the bracket since your bracket is coming from a 700R4. If you had a T5 then your bracket would work. "

Arent t-5 and 700r-4 torque arms the exact same?
