TH350 guys..what dipstick are you using?
I am about to install my TCI street fighter transmission and was wondering what I should do about a dipstick.
I know we sell a chrome one at work (Advance). I am wondering if the bends will work out. I have a lokar flexible dipstick tube but its for a 700r4 so I doubt it will work.

I think I just got a dipstick for a 2ndgen Camaro with a Turbo 350 from a dealer (I hate chrome). Works fine, it is a little tight by one of the heater core outlets but no biggie.

How much was the dipstick tube from the dealer?
I got to looking and my lokar for my 700r4 may fit with the grommet TCI sent with their tranny. I am going to check that out tomorrow. It would be nice if it worked...I paid 60$ for that lokar.

I just remembered, that when I first swapped in the tranny I did have to use one of those chrome deals (don't know the brand but I bet they are all the same) and it worked, I just didn't like it from a cosmetic perspective.Yeah that Lokar piece isn't cheap so it would be nice to reuse. I'd also worry about if there are any differences in the dipstick length. Like from where the dipstick enters the tranny to the end of the stick, or how it is marked. Wouldn't want to think it's full when it really isn't or fill it up too much.

I'm also using the dipstick that came with the transmission. I think my trans it out of a 70's impala. The dipstick fit better than stock.
