Hopefully someone can help me with this. When i installed my 700r4 i bought the bracket that the TV cable attaches to and that bracket attaches to the base of the carb. I had problems with the cable clearing the carb. while mounting the bracket. So i had to modify it to fit correctly. My question; does the fastner (clip) on the TV cable have to be a specific distance away from the throttle attachment? It's hard to explain what i mean, in other words does it matter how far the fastner is from the throttle linkage for proper adjustment of the TV cable, or is it only the cable "travel" that matters to the transmission. I am not having a problem with my transmission shifting at all but i do not want to hurt it by driving around out of adjustment. If i am unclear at all i can supply pics of what i am talking about if needed. Thanks -Bob
