depends alot on which trans you get. at the very least you'd need a shifter, cable, trans, and TC

with that engine some hard lines and a tranny cooler probably isnt a bad idea either.

Good plan, my neighbours 8 year old was going to rebuild mine, i mean i just couldnt beat his asking price of a couple fudgecicles and a sugar pop, but letting a professional do it is always another way to go.

I know i was just joking around. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor . And more like 5-600 horse, 700's cant be built any stronger then that

Someone else on this board really needs to chime in, i really dont know much about the different automatic trannies, but i think your combo is pushing the limits of a 700 built as tough as they come.

Getting the wiring for a Lockup converter could be a pain, you will need a new chip for that, unless you wire it up yourself with a switch or something. I think there are also kits available to retrofit a 700R4 to an older car that have their own lockup controls. Man I just swapped my 700 out for a TKO 600 and i couldnt be happier. I think you should stick it out and run the stick, all hotrods should be stick shift in my opinion.
