Well I goofed up Putting trans back in the car I didn't get the torqe converter in all the way and broke the pump. Bummer ruined the day
Anyway the question is,I know I need a tool to pull the front of the trans out , I'll make the tool, have to pull the pan and remove the filter. Is tere anything else to know so as not to break anything else? I've seen the pump rebolt so I have a good idea on that prossess.

Need to remove the torque converter solenoid too. You can pry the pump out from the back side, don't need any special tools. Has an o-ring seal, a gasket on the back, and small o-rings on each bolt. With pump out, careful not to pull on shaft in tranny, leave it fully in place.

 

Make sure you pull the tcc lockup solnoid out, I didn't the first time I rebuilt my trans and I ended up breaking it.

I installed a new pump housing and all. Now when I put car in 4th it tries to engage but acts like there isn't enough presure to get it goin. When in 3rd it shifts correctly up and down as its suppose to according to the rpm and throttle placement Any suggestions I am hoping for an easy solution. Thanks for any input
