Transmission: 4l80E / T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73 / 3.45
T-5 speedometer gears.
We have an 88 IROC, has a 3.45 geared 9bolt in it. someone swapped 5spd, but not the speedo gears so its way off. I need a 7 tooth gear, and a 20 tooth gear. I work at a local dealer and we can get the 7 tooth gear, but the 20 tooth is discontinued, and no one shows haveing it. Where can I go to get one. We have had the car for nearly 6 months, and the speedo has been driving me nuts. Will one from a ford work?
